Awesome guide to Napa Valley Wineries

By Melody Bynon on November 4, 2013

Format: Paperback

I bought one for myself and loved it so much I bought another one for a dear friend. I found the illustrations delightful and very professional. Not your usual guide book. Napa can be very expensive and it was wonderful to be able to plan day trips and get a variety of wineries and things to do in the area and have a sense of what it will cost. The book was easy to follow and the quality of the book was excellent. I highly recommend this to anyone who would like a unique visiting experience to such a wonderful place.

What a gem of a book! There are many guides to the various wine growing regions in California, but none so well researched or as nicely illustrated as "Wineries of the Napa Valley". The book suggests visiting this sometimes overwhelming area in manageable day trips, which is perfect for those of us that have access to the Napa Valley. The book includes maps, pricing info and even recommends times to visit for the best experiences. Marvelous! I have fingers crossed that a similar book detailing the wineries of the Sonoma and Anderson Valley is forthcoming. I suspect our copy of this book will soon be a bit tattered and worn from use!

I sure don't know what the previous reviewer is talking about, this is a very charming guide based on the authors time spent hand selecting a few of Napa Valley's gems!!

I hate it

The information is a little useful but the illustrations suck. The worst party about it is the crappy glue book binding they used. Pages are falling out my first time using it. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.
